Les 12 pays n\u00e9gociant le Trans-Pacific Partnership: Summary of U.S<\/a>\u00a0 announced they had reached an agreement on October 5, 2015. Since Congress passed and the President signed into law Trade Promotion Authority earlier this year, the agreement must be considered on a defined timeline and given an up or down vote in Congress. TPP member countries include the United States, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s cinq ans de discussions, les 12 pays n\u00e9gociant le TPP ont annonc\u00e9 le 5 octobre qu'ils avaient finalis\u00e9 un accord commercial international global. Le repr\u00e9sentant am\u00e9ricain au commerce (USTR) estime que l'accord stimulera les exportations am\u00e9ricaines \u00e0 hauteur de 142 milliards de dollars, augmentera les revenus am\u00e9ricains de 89 milliards de dollars et accro\u00eetra les investissements directs \u00e9trangers dans les entreprises am\u00e9ricaines de 54 milliards de dollars.<\/p>

Le partenariat transpacifique r\u00e9duira ou \u00e9liminera des milliers de droits de douane et d'autres obstacles pour les entreprises am\u00e9ricaines, grandes et petites, qui p\u00e9n\u00e8trent sur de nouveaux march\u00e9s. L'USTR pr\u00e9voit qu'il augmentera les exportations de 4,4 %, le PIB de 77 milliards de dollars et les investissements directs \u00e9trangers dans les entreprises am\u00e9ricaines. Le TPP contient \u00e9galement des dispositions qui prot\u00e8gent les droits de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle des entreprises \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger et des normes applicables en mati\u00e8re de travail et d'environnement. Le nouvel accord permettra aux \u00c9tats-Unis et aux autres pays membres de fixer des normes pour le commerce dans la r\u00e9gion du Pacifique, avant la Chine, qui a \u00e9galement n\u00e9goci\u00e9 de nouveaux accords commerciaux avec ses voisins d'Asie de l'Est.<\/span><\/p>

L'accord est vaste : les n\u00e9gociateurs ont \u00e9labor\u00e9 30 chapitres diff\u00e9rents pour r\u00e9soudre des questions telles que l'acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9, les droits de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle, les normes de travail, les entreprises publiques et la compatibilit\u00e9 r\u00e9glementaire. Le TPP est con\u00e7u comme un \u00ab accord vivant \u00bb, capable d'accueillir de nouvelles questions commerciales et de nouveaux membres.
