El Centro Adam Smith para la Libertad Econ\u00f3mica<\/a> de la FIU contar\u00e1 en oto\u00f1o de 2022 con destacados funcionarios p\u00fablicos nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>

El programa, de un semestre de duraci\u00f3n, trae a la FIU a destacados funcionarios p\u00fablicos para que dirijan, junto con invitados, seminarios semanales extraoficiales para estudiantes que no otorgan cr\u00e9ditos, participen en charlas y mesas redondas, est\u00e9n disponibles para reunirse con estudiantes y servirles de mentores, y act\u00faen como recurso para la comunidad universitaria.<\/p>

Javier C\u00e1rdenas asisti\u00f3 como empresario latinoamericano y l\u00edder de la regi\u00f3n, al acto 2022 Senior Leadership Fellows. Cuando la universidad celebra su 50 aniversario, el Centro Adam Smith se siente profundamente honrado de dar la bienvenida a nuestra comunidad a un grupo de servidores p\u00fablicos del m\u00e1s alto calibre\u00bb, dijo Carlos D\u00edaz-Rosillo, director fundador del Centro Adam Smith. \u00abEstos becarios de alto liderazgo, adem\u00e1s de inspirar a futuras generaciones de l\u00edderes a trav\u00e9s de su ense\u00f1anza y tutor\u00eda, se unir\u00e1n a otros consumados l\u00edderes mundiales que visitar\u00e1n nuestro centro en una serie de actos p\u00fablicos de marquesina que arrojar\u00e1n luz sobre algunas de las cuestiones de pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica m\u00e1s complejas a las que se enfrenta el mundo\u00bb.<\/p>

The first public event with the Senior Leadership Fellows will be\u00a0Thursday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m.\u00a0(EDT) at MARC 290 (Pavilion) on FIU’s MMC Campus, 11200 SW 8th St., Miami, 33199. The fall 2022 Senior Leadership Fellows will participate in a conversation with D\u00edaz-Rosillo about the fellows\u2019 vision for their stay at the university and their views on the state of freedom in the world today.\u00a0<\/p>

The center also will host the president of Paraguay, Mario Abdo Ben\u00edtez, on\u00a0Friday, Sept., 23 at 10 a.m.\u00a0(EDT)\u00a0at MARC 290 (Pavilion) on FIU’s MMC Campus, 11200 SW 8th St., Miami, 33199.
