Perspectivas para las Am\u00e9ricas Tras un 2015 dif\u00edcil, marcado por un crecimiento econ\u00f3mico medio estancado que impuls\u00f3 cambios pol\u00edticos y normativos en muchos pa\u00edses, las perspectivas para Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe en 2016 siguen siendo complicadas.<\/p>

El crecimiento regional, previsto en menos del 1%, ser\u00e1 el m\u00e1s bajo del mundo, debido a la d\u00e9bil demanda de materias primas, as\u00ed como a los escasos avances en la adopci\u00f3n de reformas estructurales que mejoren la productividad.<\/p>

Durante una d\u00e9cada, nuestro hemisferio se benefici\u00f3 de un fuerte crecimiento econ\u00f3mico y de un entorno pol\u00edtico y social relativamente estable. Las ganancias econ\u00f3micas permitieron un notable progreso social gracias a la adopci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas sociales espec\u00edficas que redujeron las tasas de pobreza y la desigualdad de ingresos, y dieron lugar a una creciente clase media.<\/p>
