The Global Strategic Forum is organized by the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA) and the Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom at Florida International University. The mission of the WSF is to address today’s major corporate and governance challenges, while fostering a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges at stake for the Americas within the Global market. The central themes of the WSF revolve around the Global Economy, Finance, Tech, Trade, Energy, Infrastructure, Investment and Legacy Planning.

Javier Cárdenas, Presidente y CEO de Rhino Equipment, asistió al evento e hizo una presentación sobre nearshoring y la transformación del comercio, junto con Esteban Villegas, Gobernador del Estado de Durango.

La 12ª edición de la conferencia se celebró los días 6 y 7 de noviembre en el Hotel Biltmore de Coral Gables (Florida).

Consistió en una serie de dos días de convincentes conversaciones en tiempo real entre líderes mundiales dedicadas a debatir estrategias que permitan a la sociedad en general prosperar en tiempos económicos difíciles, en los que la inflación duplicada por la recesión choca con el imperativo medioambiental y la transición digital, y cómo convertir la adversidad en oportunidad.
